Seeds As Art

My friend Aurora is curating an art show at the Curiosity Shoppe, themed around "SURVIVAL".

I have put together a set of seed packets from seed I have personally grown and saved (cilantro, dill, arugula, and amaranth: some of the easiest crops for seed saving in an urban area), along with a comic book of my perspective on the connection between seeds and survival. They will be for sale at the shop at the "Grand Opening", which will be held this Friday:
January 8th 2010 from 6-8pm.

Of course, I will probably also be giving away lots of these comics and seed packets at other events...but if you want to support my interim career as an "artist", come to the opening!

The Curiosity Shoppe is located at 855 Valencia St btwn 19th and 20th streets.
